Your privacy matters to me.
This Privacy Policy explains how I, Robin Nicole Alger, collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit robinnicole.eu, contact me, subscribe for updates, purchase artwork or other products, enrol in the Mystery School, book a hypnosis session or reading, or otherwise work with me.
I am committed to treating personal information with care, respect and confidentiality and to complying with applicable data-protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data-protection legislation.
Who Is Responsible for Your Information?
For the purposes of data-protection law, the data controller is:
Robin Nicole Alger
Website: robinnicole.eu

Location: Ireland
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your personal information is handled, please contact me using the email address above.
Information I May Collect
Depending upon how you interact with me or my website, I may collect information such as:
- your name;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- billing and delivery address;
- order and transaction information;
- products, courses or services you purchase;
- Mystery School enrolment information;
- information you provide through website forms;
- email subscription and communication preferences;
- information relating to artwork or commissions;
- correspondence between us;
- information you voluntarily share during hypnosis sessions, readings or other private sessions;
- session recordings where recording has been agreed;
- information reasonably necessary to maintain your confidential client record;
- information necessary to administer bookings, payments and customer accounts; and
- technical information associated with your use of the website, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
I aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Why I Use Your Information
I may process personal information in order to:
- respond to enquiries;
- provide products or services you have requested;
- administer appointments and bookings;
- process and fulfil purchases;
- arrange delivery of physical products and workbooks;
- administer Mystery School enrolments and course access;
- communicate with you about an order, booking or service;
- create and fulfil commissioned artwork;
- maintain appropriate client records and continuity where you return for future private sessions;
- maintain appropriate business, transaction, accounting and tax records;
- manage website and customer accounts;
- send email updates that you have chosen to receive;
- maintain the security and proper functioning of my website; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Depending upon the circumstances, the lawful basis for processing may include performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, consent or legitimate interests where permitted by law.
GDPR requires organisations to identify an appropriate lawful basis for their processing and to explain that processing transparently.
Private Sessions & Confidentiality
Hypnosis, Readings and Other Private Work
Information you share with me during a private hypnosis session, reading or other one-to-one session is treated as private and confidential.
Private sessions may involve personal experiences, relationships, emotions, health matters, spiritual experiences, beliefs or other sensitive subjects.
Some information voluntarily disclosed during a session may constitute special-category personal data under GDPR. This can include information concerning health, religious or philosophical beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation and certain other protected categories. Special-category information receives additional legal protection.
Information shared during a private session will not be published or shared publicly simply because you have chosen to work with me.
Client Records & Session Recordings
Where a hypnosis session, reading or other private session is recorded, you will be informed that recording is taking place.
The online session recording will ordinarily remain available for approximately 30 days following your session so that you have an opportunity to download and save your personal copy.
After this period, the online copy will ordinarily be removed from my active online storage.
I may retain a secure archival copy of your session recording as part of your confidential client record.
I maintain client records so that I can preserve continuity in our work should you return for future sessions, refer back to relevant previous work where appropriate, and, where possible, assist if you later require information from a previous session.
Client records and archived recordings are treated as confidential. They are not made public or used for marketing, teaching, publication or other unrelated purposes simply because they have been retained.
Client records and archived session recordings are retained while there remains a legitimate and lawful purpose for maintaining them and are subject to periodic review. Information that is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is retained will be securely deleted where appropriate, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
GDPR does not require every category of information to have the same fixed retention period, but individuals must be told the retention period or the criteria used to determine it, and personal information should not be retained longer than necessary for its purpose.
Sharing Something From a Private Session
Occasionally, something arising during a hypnosis session, reading or other private experience may contain a teaching, insight, channelled message or other material that I believe could be meaningful or helpful to a wider audience.
I will not assume that I have permission to share it.
If I would like to share material from a private session publicly, I will ask you for separate, express permission.
Permission may be documented in writing or, where appropriate, recorded verbally during the session.
Where verbal permission is recorded, I may retain that portion of the recording as evidence of the permission you gave.
Permission will be requested for the particular material and intended use rather than treating participation in a session as blanket permission to share its contents.
You are completely free to decline.
Refusing permission to share something from your session will not affect your session, the service you receive or your ability to work with me in the future.
Where you have agreed that material may be shared anonymously, I will take reasonable steps to remove personal and identifying information.
However, removing a person’s name does not necessarily make information anonymous. Information remains personal data if an individual could reasonably be identified from it.
Where appropriate, publicly shared material may include a statement such as:
“Shared with the participant’s express permission. Personal and identifying information has been removed.”
Withdrawing Permission to Share
Where public use of your personal information is based upon your consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting:
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
Where I control the publication and consent is the basis upon which I continue to use identifiable personal information, I will respond appropriately to a withdrawal request in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
Please be aware that information that has already been made publicly available online may have been copied, downloaded or shared by third parties beyond my control.
Mystery School
If you enrol in The Emerald Order of Lemurian & Avalon Mysteries, I may process information necessary to:
- administer your enrolment;
- provide course access;
- maintain your student/customer account;
- process your purchase;
- communicate important information concerning your enrolment;
- fulfil and arrange delivery of your printed workbook; and
- provide optional communications that you have chosen to receive.
Information required to fulfil your purchase or enrolment is separate from your consent to receive optional marketing or Mystery School updates.
Purchasing or enrolling in a Mystery School course does not automatically mean that you have agreed to receive unrelated promotional communications.
Artwork, Commissions & Physical Products
If you purchase artwork or another physical product, I may collect and process information necessary to process your order and arrange delivery.
For commissioned artwork, I may also retain correspondence, agreed specifications, reference information supplied by you and other information reasonably necessary to create the commissioned piece and fulfil our agreement.
Information supplied specifically for a commission will not be used for unrelated purposes without an appropriate lawful basis.
Payments
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as PayPal and payment services integrated with WooCommerce.
Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy and security practices.
Where payment is processed directly by an authorised payment provider, I do not need to receive or store your complete payment-card information.
Shipping & Print-on-Demand Workbooks
Where a physical product or Mystery School workbook needs to be fulfilled by a printing, fulfilment or delivery provider, I may provide the information reasonably necessary to fulfil your order.
For example, Mystery School workbooks may be printed and shipped through Lulu’s print-on-demand services.
This may require information such as your name and delivery address to be supplied for fulfilment and delivery purposes.
I will only provide information reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Email Updates & Stay Connected
If you choose to join my Stay Connected list or another email list, I may collect your name, email address and the subjects you have chosen to hear about.
These may include:
- The Emerald Order of Lemurian & Avalon Mysteries;
- The Space Between Us;
- hypnosis and somatic journeys;
- crystal readings and spiritual offerings;
- artwork, sculptures and new creations;
- workshops, events and LIVE gatherings; and
- general updates from Robin.
Email subscriptions may be managed through MailerLite.
Your subscription choices are voluntary.
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided in those communications.
Choosing not to receive marketing emails will not prevent you from purchasing products or services or working with me.
Contact & Enquiry Forms
When you submit a contact or enquiry form through this website, I will use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about the product, service or offering you have expressed an interest in.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship, constitute a booking or automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
Please avoid including highly sensitive or confidential personal information in an initial enquiry form unless it is necessary for me to understand and respond to your enquiry.
If you subsequently choose to book or purchase a service, any additional information required for that service will be collected separately where appropriate.
Service Providers & Who May Receive Your Information
I do not sell your personal information.
I may use trusted third-party providers where reasonably necessary to operate my website and business and provide the products or services you have requested.
Depending upon how you interact with me, these may include services used for:
- website hosting;
- WordPress and website functionality;
- WooCommerce;
- payment processing, including PayPal;
- email communications and MailerLite;
- Tutor LMS or other course-delivery systems;
- Lulu print-on-demand fulfilment;
- email services;
- online session/video services such as Zoom;
- delivery and courier services; and
- other technology or professional services reasonably necessary to operate my business.
These providers may act as data processors on my behalf or, in some circumstances, as independent data controllers subject to their own legal obligations and privacy policies.
Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection requirements concerning international transfers must be observed.
How Long I Keep Personal Information
I do not keep every category of personal information for the same length of time.
Retention depends upon why the information was collected and whether there remains a legitimate need or legal obligation to retain it.
For example:
Online session recordings are ordinarily retained for approximately 30 days to allow the client an opportunity to download their recording.
Confidential client records and secure archival session recordings may be retained for longer so that continuity can be maintained if a client returns for future work. These records are subject to periodic review.
Order, payment, accounting and transaction information may need to be retained for the periods required by applicable financial, tax or legal obligations.
Email subscription information is generally retained while you remain subscribed or as otherwise necessary to maintain a record of your communication preferences.
Contact enquiries and ordinary correspondence will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were received and any appropriate business-record requirements.
Information that is no longer reasonably necessary will be securely deleted, anonymised or otherwise appropriately disposed of where practicable and subject to applicable legal requirements.
The Irish Data Protection Commission requires privacy notices to state the applicable retention period or, where a precise period cannot be given, the criteria used to determine it.
Cookies & Website Technology
This website may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as:
- essential website functionality;
- security;
- shopping and checkout functionality;
- customer accounts;
- remembering appropriate website preferences; and
- analytics or other optional website features where enabled.
Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, appropriate choices should be provided through the website’s cookie controls.
Further information may be provided through a separate Cookie Policy or cookie notice.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
Because private-session information and recordings may contain sensitive information, these records are treated with particular care.
No internet, email, electronic-storage or computer system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Data-Protection Rights
Depending upon the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights including:
- the right to be informed about how your information is processed;
- the right to access personal information held about you;
- the right to request correction of inaccurate information;
- the right to request erasure in applicable circumstances;
- the right to request restriction of processing;
- the right to data portability in applicable circumstances;
- the right to object to certain processing; and
- the right to withdraw consent where processing is based upon consent.
These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions contained in applicable data-protection law.

I may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Complaints
If you have concerns about how your personal information has been handled, I encourage you to contact me first so that I have an opportunity to address your concerns.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to my website, services, business practices, technology or legal obligations.
The current version will be published on this website with its latest revision date.
